- 13 patient encounters and 4 admissions per shift
- ICU/critical care setting
- 30-minute call response time -- call coverage rarely needed
- Rounding on assigned patients required
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
- Average 4 phone consultations per shift
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage
