We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Medicine team at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana!

Position Details:

• Full-Time
• Rotating Schedule; 138.67 hours/month; usually 10 or 12 hour shifts
• Weekend and holiday rotation
• No call
• Team includes 19 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including the main ED and observation unit.
• Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases
• Perform bedside ER procedures

Qualifications:

• FNP or PA certifications required
• Emergency Medicine APP experience strongly preferred
• Will accept new graduates who have at minimum a clinical rotation in the ED during their program
