Position Summary

**Only NIGHT shift available at this time!** Hiring RN’s with at least 1 year experience. MUST have Prior ED (Adults or Peds) and/or recent ED (Adults or Peds) to be considered. Looking for experienced, compassionate and motivated RN’s to join our amazing ED team! The Thomas Campus is a 68-bed emergency department caring for over 100,000 patients annually and is Arizona’s only ACS verified Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. The ED provides high quality family-centered care to a wide range of diagnoses, illnesses and injuries. Registered Nurses work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to care for patients. Clinical leadership is available on both days and nights to provide ongoing support. The Level I trauma and ED environment requires those with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, excellent communication and teamwork, as well as the desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic setting. Previous pediatric ED, acute, or critical care experience preferred.

This position works in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care appropriate to patients age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards and hospital goals, values and regulatory standards.

Education

• Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)

Certifications

• Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date. (Required)
