Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics Emergency Department
Location: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple, TX
Schedule: 10-hour shifts (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM), 14 shifts/month, No call
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Pediatrics Emergency Department team at McLane Children?s Medical Center in Temple, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a renowned pediatric facility, providing care to a diverse pediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to pediatric patients in the emergency department and inpatient settings

• Perform procedures including, but not limited to:

  • Incision & drainage (I&D)

  • Wound closure

  • Splinting and casting

  • Foreign body removal

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care

• 24-hour pediatric emergency department

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - More than 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Nurse Practitioner (NP) 
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS): and PALS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
