The region’s leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on the night shift at our Elmer, NJ location. You willperform patient assessments, determine priority of care and provide any immediate interventions, analyze assessment data, formulate and implement plan of care, and evaluate care effectiveness in collaboration with medical staff and in accordance with the policies and procedures of IHN. This is a part-time, night shift position with a 24-hour/week 7PM to 7AM schedule, plus every other weekend and holiday.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in BSN or MSN; Completed degree preferred
1+ years of experience in a clinical setting required; 2+ years ED experience preferred
Current New Jersey nursing licensure
Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
Cardiac dysrhythmia required within 6 months of hire
CPI training completion required within the introductory period with renewal every 18 months
Critical Care Course required within 1 year (or 2 years CC experience or current CEN)
Completion of Trauma Nurse Core Courses taught by the Emergency Nurses Association required within 12 months of initial assignment, followed by a minimum of 8 contact hours of education every 2 years in trauma assessment, intervention, and stabilization
