Indiana University Health Medical Group South Region is seeking a PRNNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team of three Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers in our InpatientNeuro-Hospitalist unit inBloomington, Indiana.
Position Highlights:
Schedule: As needed to cover for absences due to illness and vacation, staffing shortages, or busy periods
100% inpatient
Call (phone-only) include ED/inpatients
This experienced candidate will provide in-house clinical care for patients with Dementia, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines and Parkinson's Disease. Candidate will interact closely with Emergency Department, inpatient providers and staff seeking a Neurology consult for new or established Neurology service patients. This candidate will answer questions regarding potential differential diagnoses, determine testing needs and interventions/treatments as well as follow results and provide patient education.
Qualifications:
Educational background consistent with requirements for NP/PA licensure and certification in the state of Indiana, required
